This lecture will discuss the underlying principles for the imaging diagnosis of ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes with MRI, as well as briefly covering the clinical signs, pathophysiology, treatment, and prognosis. Learning objective #1 - The audience should be able to describe the basic symptoms and pathophysiology of strokes. Presented by Scott Johnson, RT (R) - Scott is a radiologic technologist with 6 years of experience and a strong interest in MRI physics and its application to veterinary medicine. His goal is to make MRI an interesting and accessible topic to veterinary technicians. He recently earned a Masters of Science in Bioimaging from Boston University. This lecture is approved for 2 CEU by the MVTA Registration is not required. |
