There is no fee to attend this lecture, but preregistration is required and seating is limited. This lecture has been MVTA approved for 1.0 hour of CE for veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants.

Lecture overview:

Do you ever feel like a code happens at the worst possible time? Do you ever feel like everyone is jumping in to start doing CPR and you are standing on the side-lines not sure how to help? Do you just completely forget what CPR stands for? Whatever the case may be, CPR can be stressful when we are not prepared. This lecture is designed to hopefully give you a refresher course on CPR. We will discuss the steps involved, the main goals, and also common outcomes/statistics in hopes to make you feel a little bit more comfortable if and when the time comes for you to jump in and lend a hand.

Lecture Objectives:

  1. Help to understand the steps involved in CPR
  2. Help to understand the drugs involved in CPR.
  3. Help to understand the most common outcomes (likelihood of success/failure)
